Healthy and Delicious: Marinated Sea Bass

2 sea bass fillets

1 lemon juice

4tbs of olive oil

1tbs of chopped fresh basil

2 garlic cloves finely chopped

1tsp of chilli flakes

Salt and pepper to taste



The Marinade

  1. In a soup plate or a food-storage plastic bag, mix the lemon juice, olive oil, basil, garlic, salt and pepper.
  2. Add the fish in the mixture and turn to coat with marinade.
  3. Cover the dish with cellophane or seal bag and refrigerate at least 15 minutes.

The Fish

  1. Pre-heat the oven at 180°C.
  2. Place the fish on a sheet of foil in an ovenproof dish.
  3. Pour the marinade on top of the fish and wrap the fish in the foil.
  4. Cook for 20 min.


To finish:

This dish is best served with Tabbouleh.
